OH, What an April!
In March we apologized for our inability to deal with the  "perfect snow storm", while we anxiously looked forward to April.    Once again, we met with the "perfect storm conditions", but this was rain for the most part.  Most of us couldn't find a bridge open that would get us to the airport.  We suffered no damage, however flights were washed out.   39N Logo

Then suddenly Spring decided to arrive and we were willing to let the sunshine in - then more rain.  We hope the sun stays for a while.
P.S.  Watch out for nesting birds in your planes.

SUPPORT the International Air Rally
At 39N in July
We are all busy planning this event and trying to get the scheduled formulated.   In the past many stops are remote communities in Canada where the whole town welcomes pilots - but here in the Metropolitan area, we don't get that level of cooperation for things like transportation, lodging, etc.  We have to provide our guests with transportation to and from the hotel and the "stuff" needed for the picnic, and this will cost.   So, as a minimum we need some sponsor who can give us donations to make 39N the most remembered airport in 2007.

Sponsorship can be anything you want to donate.  For donations over $100, we will list you or your company on our posters and our website.  There will also be a thermometer in the lobby detailing our efforts.  Please help us!

Coolest Airplane of the Month
We were visited by a Cessna Citation Encore from our northern neighbors.  As for noise, you could barely hear them land or take off.

Meet Brian Lucas
Brian joined our staff last November as a CFI.  Because he is the second "Brian" on staff, we refer to him as "Lucas".  He has since earned his CFII and MEI, so he's ready to teach anything.

A home grown pilot, Brian was born and raised in NJ and graduated from Embry Riddle in '06.  He has been a very willing instructor and he has a great member of our team.  When he gets time off he enjoys golf, motorcylces and traveling.  A career in aviation should allow him to pursue these hobbies.

PRINCTON AIRPORT FLYING TIGERS
The 7 members in 4 planes had a great Fly-In to Bradley where they visited the New England Air Museum.  Additionally, 8 members flew in 3 planes to Sun N'Fun, including Dan Bellware & son in his sport plane.  A good time was had by all.  (A couple went with the airlines.)

Dinner Meeting:  May 9th, 6:00 p.m. at Pizza & Pasta Restaurant, Manville.  Join us for fun, food, and important discussions about the Air Rally.

May Fly In:  May 20th - York, PA.

Welcome New Staff

We'd like to welcome Jon Rinko and Laurie Adams to our front counter as Flight Coordinators.  Both are busy learning the "Language of Aviation", so please be patient with them.
