FLIGHT COURSES

Private Pilot Course:  A Private Pilot's License allow the pilot  to  fly day or night in good weather.  The pilot may take passengers, how-ever pilot can only share expenses - not make money.   To become a private pilot the student must have a minimum of 40 hours is the air-20 with an instructor, 10 solo, and the last 10 with or without an instructor.

However, the pilot must meet minimum requirements and meet the FAA standards.  The national average is almost 90 air hours.  How many hours it  takes an individual will depend upon the frequency of the flight lessons; the person time and resources available; coordination skills; comprehension of English and most importantly, the weather.  All of these factors will also  effect the final costs.  Upon completion of the training, the student must pass a knowledge test on a computer and a practical test with an FAA Designated Examiner.

Youth Pilot Training Program:  When a child has a
passion for flying this new program is perfect to get her/him started.
Since the minimum age to solo is 16 years of age and 17 years old to
get a Private Pilot's License, the Youth Program can be a wonderful way
to keep their interest in aviation and move through the pre-solo training
as a pace compatible with their age, about middle school.  The
curriculum was carefully written with work books which integrate into the
flying  Once the children solo we integrate them into the regular
curriculum and the book work will not be overwhelming.

Instrument & Commercial Courses:
Upon receiving a private pilot's license, frequently a pilot want the ability to fly in inclement weather, thus requiring instrument instruction.  This course is 40 hours minimum with an instructor.  Upon completion the student must take a  knowledge test and a practical test with an examiner.

When a pilot is instrument rated, he/she can then pursue a commercial certificate, which requires 250 hours total time, more precise maneuvers, and experience in a complex airplane.
