MORE CONSTRUCTION SET  FOR THIS SPRING & SUMMER

If you think that the airport looks good now, it can always improve, and Ken has some more improvements set for this spring.  Therefore we will need your cooperation as a corporate size hangar is constructed right in front of the lobby, facing the runway.  The building is on the way, so if you know of a company looking for a home for its fleet, send them our way.
Then also coming this July is a new taxiway to be built on the south side, which will make room for eighteen more tie-downs.  This should free up the new ramp which is supposed to provide parking for visitors.
So as we have in the past, we ask you to operate with the utmost caution during any disruption.

HELP WANTED:

On May 18th we will need lots of extra eyes and hands.  The actual events will only take about an hour with refreshments following.

  1. Hands for set up-chairs, tables, etc.

  2. Hands for breakdown.

  3. Amateur and/or professional photographers who would like to help document this exciting event.

  4. Security-watch as people walk around the buildings and make sure they stay at an appropriate distance from the planes.  We will give you name tags so the public can ask questions.

Sign up or call us.  We would appreciate any help we can get.

Attention Airplane Owners

If you are going to be with us on May 18th, why not open your hangar doors and show off your airplane, (airplanes).  Remember what we think are ordinary, the non flying public still thinks is exciting.  Airplanes are exciting whether they are one of 100,000 or a very unusual bird.  Pilots and wanna-be pilots like to look at airplanes.

Many Thanks to Jim Heidere for making a series sign similar to the old Burma Shave signs.  You will see them on the taxiway to Runway 28.
