Congratulations Christophe Renner for achieving 100% on the Aeronautical Knowledge Test
Welcome New Staff: We are very pleased to welcome three more talented instructors to our staff, especially in light of the recent CFI shortage. CFII Fredrick Ericksson from Sweden, and CFII Bjorn Espeland from Norway both trained in South Carolina. They have moved north after working in FL. Joining them is our own graduate, David Walkeiwicz. So if over the course of time you lost your instructor, call us. We are well staffed and will be able to accommodate your flight training needs.
Private Pilot Ground School? Usually we have difficulty finding an instructor to teach a ground school during the long days of summer. We will organize a class which will meet once a week for 12 weeks, taking a chapter at a time. If this is something in which you are interested, please call and sign up. There is a $75 charge to our students.
Baby Girl * Baby Girl * Baby Girl Congratulations to the Pete Quanci family - welcome Skye Constance; to Patti & Bob Maslanka & Carolyn Ann; and to part time flight instructor, Bill Douglas & his wife on the arrival of Eva. Lots of future aviatrixes.
Welcome to 39N Alice Wright and your Cessna 172, and Mike Hierl and your Piper Cherokee.
First we couldn't get them fast enough - now we are overstocked. GPS 295s. They are the greatest since... We'll accept trades!
Congratulations, Chuck Taylor & Jeff Wilman Under the guidance of Chris Wilson, Chuck and Jeff will assume the roles of Co-Chief Pilots. Together the will continue to lead the students, staff and school toward excellence in the air. Good luck.
Avgas keeps going up, up, up!

FREE! Princeton Airport Tours. Thursday - 10:30 a.m. (weather permitting), July and August.
A Dear Friend Has Left Us - Bob (BJ) Jacks has died. Bob was a long time pilot with an incredible sense of humor. Some of you might remember that Bob was the MC when we had our big welcoming party after we bought Princeton Airport. In typical fashion Bob dressed for the occasion wearing a leather outfit from the 20s, goggles, scarf, and boots. On rainy days BJ would put on his slicker and soap up his C-185 and scrub it down. The downpour of the storms did the rest.
Our heartfelt condolences to the family.
Thanks, Good Luck, and a Hearty Farewell, Chris Wilson
When Chris first approached us for a job, we had enough CFIs, so he worked line and helped in the shop. It did not take long to realize the many talents Chris brought with him and the tug of war between the shop and the school began.
As the school's schedule got tight, we pulled Chris from the shop and had him instruct. It didn't take long for the flight school to take him over full time, much to Ken's chagrin. Chris became our chief pilot almost two years ago and he has lead our staff to a higher professionalism.
But Chris' heart is near the beach, so he'll be heading to Florida for a charter operation. We wish him all the best. They are lucky to get him. Keep in touch, Chris.

The Pinchhitter's Course was created to make the passenger in the right seat enjoy flying as much as the pilot. Whether that passenger wants to know more about the happenings in the cockpit or he/she is apprehensive of flying, this course has worked wonders over the years.
The course consists of four hours of ground work in a class setting. We will conduct it two consecutive Saturday mornings. Then at the student convenience, he/she will schedule four hours with an instructor in the plane in which he/she will most likely to be a passenger. You will learn to navigate, use the radio, and in those rare cases, be able to communicate when the pilot becomes incapacitated.
We are fortunate that David Bostain will conduct the next session.
Dates: Saturday, July 15th & 22nd.
Time: 10:00 a.m. - noon.
Cost: $40 for the class.
The actual flying will be the cost of the instructor and the cost of the plane. If you have your own, we can provide the instructor.
Sign Up Today!
When you attend this class, you can earn your Pilot Proficiency Wings by receiving 3 hours of instruction.
Please call to reserve a seat. Cost: $5 / person.
