All In the Day of Your Local Airport...

Mid-September, our friend, Tom Hall, called to ask if he could bring someone from India who wanted to ask questions about how we do things in the U.S. His guest was none other than the Deputy Director General of Civil Aviation in India, Capt. R. L. Biala. He was fascinated with how much simpler and cheaper flight training is in the states. We might complain about all the rules, but the next time you get to speak with a foreign pi8lot, you will find out how easy it is here in comparison.

We also had a visit from Senator John McCain who flew here in a KingAir to campaign locally for Dick Zimmer. It is ironic that Zimmer would even step foot on to Princeton Airport after his unrelentless efforts to harm us in the late '80s. If he had succeeded, there would be no airport here today for McCain to fly into, and for him to campaign from. We do have a long memory.

The New Runway - we apologize that it will not be completed as promised!

Welcome to 39N, Two Lancairs & their owners, Clark Baker & Mike from Cheapie Electric. You certainly add excitement to the field.

Staff Changes: Good luck, Bjorn Espeland, who has gone west to fly checks in twin engine airplanes. A hearty welcome to Carmen Lopez who will be helping you behind the counter.

Instrument Ground School - Are you interested? We will start a sign up sheet and see if there is enough support to start class. We need 12 students.

If you are using the classroom, please respect the privacy of the flight instructors' desks. Their contents are not for public consumption nor perusal. Unfortunately things have been missing. Buy your own books, headsets, charts, etc. The staff have purchased theirs - purchase you own, please. We will prosecute.

Do not under any circumstance, add or delete your name on the flight school schedule. This cannot be tolerated!
