SCHEDULING YOUR FAA WRITTEN EXAM

 

To schedule and register for your FAA exam, there are 2 options:

  1. Website registration: faa.psiexams.com/faa/login

or

  1. By telephone: 844-704-1487

 

You must have your FTN (FAA Tracking Number) and credit card available for the test registration.

 

Some tips for scheduling/registering for your FAA exam:

 

If you don’t have an FTN, please go to the Integrated Airman Certification and Rating Application website, or iacra.faa.gov/IACRA  to obtain an FTN, you must register on the IACRA website.

 

Upon arriving at the test location, all ID documents, and endorsements, if needed, must be in original form. No copies or emailed versions will be acceptable.

 

Acceptable Forms of Identification:

 

ALL ApplicantsUS Citizens and

Resident Aliens

Non-US Citizens.
Identification information must be valid and current.

Identification must include ALL of the Following information:

-photo

-date of Birth

-signature

-physical residential address

(a driver’s license covers all of the above)

Identification card issued by an US state, territory or government entity

(e.g., driver permit or license, government identification card, or military identification card)

or

Passport

or

Alien residency card

Passport

AND

driver permit or license issued by a US state or territory

or

identification card issued by any government entity

 

The only thing you are permitted to bring in the test site is an E6-B, or equivalent, and a plotter.  No phone, writing utensils, calculators with memory or scrap paper will be permitted.  The test site will supply a simple calculator all writing utensils, scrap paper and the appropriate supplement.
