As summer comes to an end, we hope this was the summer you spent more time at the airport than anywhere else—and how lucky we are if that’s the case! It has been an incredibly busy and exciting few months at Princeton Airport, and the momentum isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Our flight school had an especially successful month, celebrating 10 student accomplishments, including 6 first solos, 3 private pilot checkride passes, and a brand-new commercial pilot! Watching our students reach these milestones is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do, and we can’t wait to see where their wings take them next. As we transition into fall, the flying certainly doesn’t stop. With shorter days and busy schedules ahead, be sure to book your lessons in advance and keep that consistency going!
There’s plenty happening around the rest of the airport, too. Hangars are becoming available to rent, so if you’ve been waiting for an opportunity, be sure to get in touch and make sure you’re on the list. We also have office space available to rent or lease right here at Princeton Airport, offering a unique opportunity to make the airport your workplace. For more information, reach out to Ken@princetonairport.com or Jack@princetonairport.com.
Our Avionics and Maintenance Shop has been busy as well! With the addition of the new Garmin Axis option, we’re seeing pilots inquiring about upgrades. Whether you’re looking to add an autopilot, modernize your existing panel, or make the jump to a completely glass cockpit, our maintenance team can help you explore the possibilities for your aircraft.
Need to renew your medical? Our FAA Aviation Medical Examiner has numerous appointment dates available this month, giving you plenty of opportunities to get your medical taken care of and stay ready to fly.
And of course, we can’t forget our summer BBQ! It was wonderful seeing the airport come alive with good food, great conversation, and even better company.
Finally, our summer tours have officially come to a close, and what a summer it was! We welcomed more than 1,000 visitors to Princeton Airport through our tours. It was so much fun introducing young aviators to the world of flight and sharing our airport with aviation enthusiasts of all ages. We hope to see all of those future pilots back again someday to take to the sky—and for those who are already tall enough to reach the pedals, we hope you come back even sooner!
Congratulations to August's Student Accomplishments!
